I particularly enjoy their crispy fried fish, especially when it's freshly cooked and served hot. They offer a variety of items, including shrimp, chicken strips, crab cakes, and plenty of side dishes. Service can be a bit slow at times, but as long as the food is hot, I don't mind waiting. I would say that Captain D's functions more like a fast food spot rather than a sit-down restaurant like Red Lobster. The prices are somewhat high, especially since drinks are not included with the meals. However, they do have monthly specials and we often receive coupons in the mail. For us, it's a nice place to eat every once in a while.
