Five Guys - College Park

I have been coming to college parking for years and the service is amazing! the manager never fails to connect with all customers and he always holds a positive fun energy behind the counter. the burgers from here are my favourites that I have ever had. I would highly recommend trying the college parking place!

I've been coming here for about a year or two and it's always been great. The place is incredibly clean, and my order has always been made very quickly and correctly, every time. Of all the burger places around, this is the best one in the area!

Manager Antwan is really great he knows how to help when you need help. Food is great best choice is the cheese burger. Them fries is great, the first be bussin especially when they be adding inside the whole bag. the best part is that it’s REALLY CLEAN.

As for the service, I appreciated how attentive one of the employees was—they checked in on us to see if we needed anything. For example, one staff member noticed I was looking for a separate bag for our fries and proactively offered to help. I also saw him asking other customers the same question, which shows great attention to detail. The fries are a nice bonus, but they don’t automatically come with a takeout order. Regarding portion sizes, they were generous as always! I love how every Five Guys location I’ve been to includes extra fries in their orders, and this one was no exception. Plus, they don't skimp on the toppings, which is another great feature since you can add as many as you like. Price-wise, it's reasonable, given the taste, freshness, and portion sizes. Cleanliness was generally good, although I did notice that only one employee was wearing a face mask. In this pandemic era, it’s reassuring when restaurants adhere to health and safety guidelines. Parking is another consideration: the whole lot is paid parking, and there are no single meters. You need to take note of your parking number and pay at a meter in the plaza. We were surprised that it’s a paid lot since it’s a small open area, but it’s likely due to its proximity to the university. On a downside, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger bowl, but it didn’t come with bacon, which was disappointing. Additionally, our order wasn’t ready when the app said it would be; in fact, it hadn’t even been prepared when we arrived. They only started making it after we got there and mentioned our order. On the bright side, this meant our food was hot when we received it, but it also meant we had to wait longer than expected, contradicting the idea of pre-ordering. Lastly, if you order through the app, be aware that prices may be slightly higher—Grubhub charges a few dollars more than the standard Five Guys prices. While I’d be willing to return to this restaurant, it likely wouldn’t be my first choice.
