We live in Colima and just found Project V19. Food was excellent. Enjoyed the BBQ chicken and mac n cheese. Nice alternative to typical Mexican food we eat every other day. Owner was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We will be back!
I am from California and was visiting a friend in Colima, so he decided to take me here. I found the atmosphere to be very nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so you can choose which you prefer. All of the staff was very friendly and were patient with me as my Spanish is not very good. I have to say that at V19, I had one (or a few) of the best vodka martinis I have ever had in my life. Kudos to the bartender! I do not eat a lot of meat, so I opted for a vegetarian dish. I am afraid I do not remember its name, but it had eggplant, zucchini, cheese, and an Italian red sauce. It was very delicious. My friends enjoyed pizza and everyone was very happy with their meals and drinks.The owner, James, came to our table to chat and was very accommodating. He is also a California native and was so kind to help me with the menu questions I had. I know I felt a bit of relief to be able to speak English with someone in Colima. Regardless of the language, James truly cares about his restaurant and is good to his customers.I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a variety of foods to order from. I saw American, Italian, and Mexican dishes offered on the menu. Of course I have only been there once, but I do look forward to a second (or third) visit the next time I am in Colima.Thank you James for your hospitality. I will see you soon!
