This place came very recommended, and the prices in the menu made expectations somewhat high. young, we were disappointed. first I would like to praise her service; it was very pleasant and beautiful, but this is about the only positive. short version: every dish we were served was bland. not insulting, only bland. the timing of the kitchen is also very bad. the menu is this 24-sided confusing animal of a Facebook gallery with two different sections for pizzas that repeats half of it. they would probably benefit from cutting two thirds of it and focusing on the things they do best (although I don't know what that would be). cannot remember the names of the appetizer we ordered, but it was a kind of dry meat to dive. I. the special suppe of the day was the mushroom soup; we expected a simple, hearty broth with varied mushrooms, but what we got was boiled in a thick tomato paste. the only other suppe in the menu was tomatensuppe; take a guess as they make the mushroom soup. the worst part is that it didn't taste tomato! it just didn't taste so much. ravioli was too thick and was brought to us at the same time as the suppe, as we came to them, they were smart and chew. the other pasta was only penne sauteed with red wine grapes bark; again, not terrible, only very bland and cold, because it also served the same time as everything else. this probably works wonderfully for uber eats, but not for inrestaurant dining room. the pizza had an extremely thin crust that is acceptable, although not my favorites. but the pompous way to put the blows under the cheese makes annoying everything slip off with the least movement. it was also cooked unevenly, with one end burned black and the other almost boiled. as with all the others, it was cold until we made it. the Horchata ice was good, but that's what it is. they seem to be quite aware of how high (for colima) their prices are because they try to compensate with ridiculous, diabetes, the portion sizes. in serious, I am what mexikaner de buen would call, but that was much too much. Overall, no terrible experience, would come back when I was invited, but there are much better options.
Some friends came to stay with us after we moved here, and when it came to dinner, we had problems everywhere to find, not to realize that many local businesses are closed on Mondays. to the happiness was aroma open. loved the ambiente, and the service was. shameful, and eating was delicious. a great place for a date night.
The restaurant is about a 15-minute taxi ride from the historic centro. set back from the road. a lot of space between the tables and the tables are overdimensioned so that not overcrowded for the ordered dishes. he started with decent martinis. the restaurant has a good wine card with many Mexican offered (we have a fine bottle canto de luna shared from ensanada). three of us started with a Cesar salad. good quantity with freshly made crumbs. the salat leaves could have bee coolers imo. for the net we had the nostro alredo, garnel in a rich creamy sauce over noodles, spaghetti a la bolognese and tartara de atun. all were full and delicious. the service (only Spanish) was very good, washrooms clean and credit cards accepted.

My husband and I have dined at Aroma on several occasions when we get to Colima. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The food has been consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have ordered the salmon, mussels, steak and the fettuccine...and chicken. The salads are fresh and the wine selection is great. Good selection on the menu. You won't be disappointed. Aroma recently opened a restaurant in Manzanillo as well. Again, excellent food and service.
