Reviews - Scoops Snack Attack
Reviews summary
COX Waystation, a charming dessert haven in Colfax, captivates visitors with its vibrant atmosphere and friendly service. However, the establishment struggles with inconsistent hours, often closing unexpectedly and causing frustration among patrons. Despite these setbacks, the restaurant offers a delightful array of ice cream flavors and tempting treats, particularly on $1 scoop Tuesdays, which have garnered enthusiastic praise. While some customers have expressed disappointment over missing whipped cream toppings or challenging visits, the overall sentiment reflects a glowing fondness for the generous portions and indulging desserts. This gem remains a sweet stop for dessert lovers in the area.

We really enjoy $1 scoop Tuesday at this restaurant. They always have a wide variety of delicious flavors to choose from, and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly. One day, when my kids were craving ice cream and I wanted something savory, I tried one of their pizza/flatbreads and it was delicious! Plus, the location is ideal as you can take a short walk to the library afterwards and pick up a good book. View all feedback.
What Taya Reich dislikes about Scoops Snack Attack:
Awful manager she harassed my little brother during the beginning of covid the ice-cream on Tuesdays is freezer burnt it s awful awful prices don't go. The only reason i go is because its the only place in town i can walk to. And the response is a lie they do get freezer burnt. The only reason it is 2 stars now is the employees are super kind and always able to help. View all feedback.

Online said it was open but no lights on. Bummed that hours were incorrect drove down from a hike with intention of treating kids with ice cream
Yummy, ice cream. It's kinda expensive but everything is these days! Glad you are here and staying open.

We Took the kids here and had a snack and ice cream. First off, friendly staff.. Very good with my outgoing children. I had the bbq flatbread. It was larger and more filling than I expected and SO good. The pizza pretzel was big enough for my two young kids to split. And of course, ice cream always pleases. The variety of jellybeans is insane, and I mean that in the best way. Haha. Finished off the visit with one of the best blended coffee drinks I've had in a long time. Will be back regularly.

It seems like this restaurant has difficulty maintaining consistent hours. Closing at 5:30 on a Friday night is quite early. The restaurant has always had limited hours, but it is frustrating that there is no answering machine or sign on the door to indicate why it's closed.
This restaurant is excellent with outstanding service and atmosphere, but unfortunately they seem to close frequently. It's surprising considering they are the only dessert place in Colfax and you would think they would want to attract more customers. It's disappointing, but typical for Colfax.

Always like going here for ice cream and candies. There is also some toys and wall hanging plaques for sale. Great choice of flavors, different kinds of cones.Staff is friendly and courteous.I recommend this place!
Great ice cream super friendly. I will say though making the cashier count back change is wildly annoying. Just tell me what my change is so I don 't have to stare at you interrupting my internal monologue of counting the change you placed in my hand already. Now nor do I know the change you handed me I 've now stated into your soul an akward amount of time and I will now look down to count the amount of change in my hand before not saying goodbye because that was weirdly like you still owe me 5 cents but the confidence was there. Lol please stop doing this lol aside from that peaches and cream was amazing. $1 scoops on Tuesday 's *wanted to clarify no I have no idea if my change was off lol but stop lol

Went there while passing the town. The employees were sweeter than the ice cream we got there :
This restaurant is fantastic with exceptional service and ambiance, but unfortunately they tend to close whenever they can. It's frustrating that they are not open more often, especially considering they might be the only dessert place in Colfax. Once again, Colfax disappoints.
We absolutely adore $1 scoop Tuesdays at this restaurant. There is always a wide variety of delicious flavors to choose from, and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly. One day, while my kids were craving ice cream, I decided to try one of their pizzas/flatbreads for a little more flavor, and it did not disappoint. The location is also perfect for a leisurely walk to the library or to pick up a good book.
I always enjoy coming to this ice cream and candy shop. They also have a variety of toys and wall hanging plaques available for purchase. They offer a wide selection of flavors and different cone options. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
Scoops/ Snack Attack is a great addition to Colfax. The ice cream is great, the food is great, and my kids love their gift shop area. We have found some really fun items there, like scorpion lollipops and marshmallow shooters (they 're like blow darts, but the darts are mini marshmallows. Tuesday night is dollar scoop night, and we try never to miss. Last week, a kind customer paid it forward , and we received our cones for free! :

Scoops/Snack Attack is a fantastic addition to Colfax. The ice cream is delicious, the food is great, and my children adore their gift shop section. We've discovered some hilarious items there, like scorpion lollipops and marshmallow shooters (which are like Nerf guns, but the darts are mini marshmallows). Tuesday nights are dollar cones night, and we always make sure to go. Last week, a kind customer paid it forward and we received our cones for free!
The service was friendly and efficient, and the ice was great. On Tuesdays, you can get a draft beer for just $1.00.
Has to choose such a large selection of many different types of ice creams. the store is very well maintained and very clean and organized. I was pretty impressed.
Do you ever feel you won the lottery, by being at the right place at the right time? COX Waystation is such the place. It was Tuesday $1 scoop day. There were so many delicious ice cream flavors to choose from, it was hard to pick just one. If you have a sweet tooth, this is snack heaven. Every type of candy you can imagine. If the Colfax sweet shop is too far to travel, they have an online store called snack attack. This is a great date spot. Grab a scoop or two of ice cream and explore downtown Colfax.
