Return to my homeland to make a trip to tiptree marmelade factory. the shop is good with all Wilkins products that are just a fraction of the super market prices. the teestuben were beautiful, polite friendly staff who were easily available when needed. The...cream tea was excellent, 2 freshly cooked to perfection with a decent brew and all for a good price, would definitely recommend and we will return
Yesterday to heybridge and it costs £40 for two of us to lunch! we had a roasted sandwich and a Bakewell tea afterwards. we had a drink
This restaurant deserves top marks for offering a separate gluten-free menu and gluten-free cream tea! The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. We were impressed by the beautifully presented dishes. The prices are very reasonable and there is even a small museum on site. Overall, a really lovely place to dine.
My friend and I visited this tea room today and were really impressed with the service and vegan options. We had the festive afternoon tea, mine was vegan but my friends was not. It was delicious, we couldn’t eat it all but were offered a...box to take the remaining cakes home. Will definitely visit again.
