The Wooden Fender - Colchester

Went for a late breakfast today . The food was great and staff really lovely and friendly . Will definitely be back

Eating was perfect, personal was great, can not recommend the wooden fender enough. I ordered spicy squid salad followed by erdbeere eton mess and it was fantastic! thank you.

I and my family had booked a table for Christmas dinner on Christmas. we were welcomed that we are great smiles from the employees and shown to be table. bubbly was sent to lol immediately. everything was so beautiful that I had a pig bell that was on place. I had the roast beef with all the circumcisions that were added without additional cost. all employees could do more for us to make the day comfortable and stress-free. we have filled after tea choclates completely christmas pudding and mint cake . well made wood fender we had a great day

Our first visit to the Wooden Fender and we know it will be the first of many! We had breakfast here, my husband had a full English I had the Full Fender sandwich. Both dishes were excellent, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs although we did our best to finish our breakfast. I liked the look of the lunch dinner specials on the boards so we will return soon. Great food, lovely people very good value.

Had lovely lunch today, children's menu great aswell with outside garden, highly recommend fabulous service
