The Three Horseshoes - Colchester

We came as a family to lunch with our dog. we all loved it, although our dog does not get to taste the really excellent food. pleasant service, for me as a driver decent (very) low alcohol beer. we will return.

Good. nice eating . well cooked, beautifully presented and pleasant to the eye. wine and beer selection is on a par with eating. personal and service are pleasant and professional. my one and only observation is the only door at the main entrance. a busy passage in and out and for the loos) the spring in the upper door panel is faulty and consequently the door was closed during use. we have set ourselves on it! Slam,slam,slam,slam,slam,slam,slam,slam,slam, not enough to get rid of me again, but a territory where I'm not here to sit.

Had a lovely meal with my parents this evening at The Three Horseshoes. Outstanding service and food served to a high standard. We would highly recommend here for a meal out with family and friends.

So pleased to be living in a village with a decent pub! Prices are on the dear side but the presentation and food are exquisite. Perfect for a fancy night out and lovely, cosy atmosphere.

Great eating in a beautiful environment. very beautiful garden area too. service was excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly. they gave us a table with a simple step free access, as we had an older lady with us.
