Contribute FeedbackA seaside gem with a mix of reviews - while some found the prices reasonable and quality superb, others were put off by rude kitchen staff and dirty tables. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Customer service was highlighted positively, with friendly and accommodating staff. An option to enjoy fish and chips on the beach adds to the charm. Definitely worth a visit for a lovely cooked breakfast and pastries, despite some inconsistencies in pricing, portion sizes, and service. The scenic view and welcoming atmosphere make it a hidden treasure by the sea.
What a pleasant experience. Friendly waitress and nice fish and chips. We are from out of town so unlikely to be back but have to say I cannot fault our experience. 5 stars.
Down by the beach today and sent my granddaughter to buy an ice cream . I do think £4.00 for one ice cream is way over the top!!!
We often have a brunch at the Seaview Cafe. I have probably eaten here about 50 times since we’ve lived on the island. The food is top quality locally sourced fare, and always cooked fresh and to perfection. The Seaview Cafe is a local gem and we are lucky to have them. I’ve never had a single complaint and cannot recommendation them highly enough. If they are busy it’s worth waiting for a table as you won’t be disappointed.
We visited west mersea very nice little village .harbour was near to the village spent time there. we stop for tea and cakes very pleasant staff very helpful table service reasonable price .
Perfect place to stop by for a full English with great quality produce: the locally supplied bacon and sausages were extremely good and the standard sized breakfast was plenty
