Norwegian Bakers - Colchester

Lovely bakery, I was so glad when they went fully vegan a few years ago. Really good value as well! The sunshine buns are a definite winner

I absolutely love Norwegian Bakers! I first tried their skoleboller after my Norwegian friend recommended it to me at the university market. I was delighted to find out that everything they offer is vegan. I took advantage of their 3 for £5 deal and tried a tomato and cheese swirl, skoleboller, and marzipan bun. The seller was friendly and we had a great chat while I made my selections. I have been back to the stall multiple times since then, always getting a skoleboller but their chocolate cake is also amazing. I am looking forward to visiting their store in Wivenhoe over the summer to try their cookies!

They’ve never failed to be delicious every time I’ve gotta Norwegian Bakers, if you’re from the area you’ve gotta go grab or order something! Custard buns and garlic vegan cheese are sooooo good!

I first discovered this restaurant through Essex University and later visited their main location in Wivenhoe. Their calzones, Kärleksmums, and sweet and savory swirls are all delicious. This restaurant was my first introduction to vegan food a few years ago, and I still enjoy visiting it occasionally.

Ordered home delivery, so amazed it’s all vegan, very delicious good prices too.
