Mikes Golden Fish Dish - Colchester

I have used this fish and chip shop for 6 years and had always found it to be good food with good service. We mostly phone our order through and go and collect the food tonite I was told that my order would be ready in 30mins. on arrival to collect my order I was told it will be another 15mins. I have had this issue in the past where I've gone in and had to wait for my order to be ready Its very frustrating yes the shop was busy but my order hadn't even started to be cooked. When finally I got my order there was no apology for the wait. I think the staff need to behave more professionally and could do with some customer service training. Best fish and chips you will find in town. I can't highlight enough the service of the gentleman running the shop. Made sure we were happy all the way. The food was very good!!
