The Farmer's Son - Colac

Stopped over for coffee and toast while driving to Port Campbell after a red-eye flight. Had a good vibe to the place with locals popping in on their way to work.

Had a stopover while driving to the twelve apostles for brunch. The croissants that we bought was great. Really loved it. Recommend this if you are driving past.

You are never sure if you have picked well when taking that rest break on a Lo g road trip. If you enjoy coffee this might be the one for you. If it is good then there may be better options. No menu just take a look in the fridges at prepared items of great variety and most look fresh. The items we selected were ok? Did we make the best selection in the town we will never know.

Farmer and Son is an excellent place for breakfast! Located on the main street in Colac, the menu holds no surprises but dishes up good quality food and certainly doesn't hold back on the portion sizes! Excellent coffee, too. Quirky framed prints on the walls makes for an amusing alternate view if you're on your own. Definitely one to remember if you're looking for a great value brunch/lunch venue.

A friend and I stayed in Colac for 5 days and were really happy to discover The Farmer's Son on our first day. Good coffee is a must for us and these guys nailed it! The food is fresh and delicious and the service is welcoming and friendly. Thanks Jamie and team - we will see you again when we're back in Colac next year!
