I had the sushi set lunch (M4) and washed it down with a small flacon of warm sushi. The quality of the food here is consistently good. Every time I go for lunch the quality remains of the highest. If you like sushi look not further than this charming little restaurant on the right of the main road into Cognac from the main Angouleme roundabout (just before you get to Francois Premier Hotel).

I h... read more Every time I eat sushi at this charming little sushi restaurant I remind myself just how good this place is. So much better than the sushi chains in London. I highly recommend the midi selections of sushi which come with a miso soup and a really refreshing Japanese salad. I like washing eveything down with a little sake. It really does not get much better than this! Would I go again? 100%.

I have to say that the sushi at this little French provincial restaurant is every bit as good as the best London has to offer. I really do recommend this place for lovely fresh sushi, wonderful clear soup (miso) and to die for salad dressing! Park in a side street and get in earlier or book.

Firstly the food is fresh, with a distinct individual flavour, unlike many where one fish seems to blend in to another. The service is warm and welcoming and we were served by a young charming lady he spoke fluent English and German. The prices were very reasonable and we would return. It is very popular both for diners and takeaway.
