La Courtine - Cognac

Reservation on 18 for 19. on arrival no reserved table following the error of the restaurant that has programmed for the 20! without humidity, a leader is looking to check the problem instead of placing us at the table, doubting what we say, the whole staff with a rather unpleasant attitude towards us. Then, the cheques made, are finally placed in disaster at 5 on 2 small tables of 2 and without shelters while the weather threatens (at the end of the meals a few drops of rain came to greet us)! The table is only half and you have to ask what's missing! no excuse from the boss as he should be commercially (his restaurant was full and I think our humble presence was only troubling, unlike a small group of Asians that was welcomed with great respect by this boss and several servers). Our waitress, a beginner, was not motivated (I think she’s here more to earn her money than to work)! it doesn't make a difference between a salt cap and a pepper: park by wanting to pepper! for muscle salt, because given the amount of rice in the salt, salt has a lot of difficulty going out by the only hole in the cap. (which is actually the pepper cap). for a restaurant of this level, I deplore frozen products such as green beans and fries (gel) are much too dry and hard! However, in the course of meals, a very professional server has taken care of us, helping to minimize our disappointment by its pleasant mood and its jovial nature. We were offered wine and coffee in a commercial gesture.

The formula is super good, very cool frame, ratio quality excellent price. I'm recommending it. We were 12 people at noon, happy.

We were very disappointed during our last visit to the restaurant la courtine. aperitif, a Berger-menthe served without. Mint. I don't want to have a shower. We took 39€ menus. tuna and salmon tartar was cut in bulk from and without flavor. The lotte was medium. I've had a better experience with gourmet coffee. This restaurant is less and less important than its reputation and what it was. damage

Tja the service - is as with us in frankfurt - just not smile - that belongs to the service ;-) - at the beginning you have the feeling only the locals are excellently served - but you get what to eat - that tastes very good - traditional - the wine fitting - the ambiente is very nice
