What Samantha Gray doesn't like about Element Bar:
Previously loved the atmosphere of this great bar/restaurant but during the recent Omicron outbreak, was a little concerned at the crowding and poor ventilation. Typical bar-type menu as well as some great larger dishes. View all feedback.
I wanted to try for the jackfruitburger. it is no longer car vegan, need to pay 3,50 for a gf bungalow instead of brioche, which was really hard and chewing. pretzel was pretty, but dont mention vegan version does not come with chocolate dip only jam.
With so many caffes closed at midday, this place was open and welcoming. the personal was friendly and the speed of the service was of good timing. the pulpit was crispy and fresh. the kürbissalat was simply perfect, they put the dressing on the side and mentioned that it had honey in it, so that was good they did. I did not need the extra dressing it was good with balsamico
I was super excited when I saw jackfruit on the menu. Really enjoyed both jackfruit options despite the tacos a little cold. dessert was also really good!

After reading the reviews here we were keen to give it a try - afterall you can't beat a place with a good vibe AND good food. I spoke to the owner/manager when I booked which gave me a positive feel for the Saturday night ahead and we weren't disappointed. As he described his place: think of one of Brisbane's suburban bars but only bigger. And he's right, this place goes on and on ... We arrived early and were made to feel more than welcome to sit in the bar area and have drinks beforehand and told to move to our table when we were ready. Even though the place was busy we weren't rushed and the place started filling up early so it is obviously popular. Now the food ... fantastic! We had the trio of dips to start with and found we were given more than enough of the two types of bread to match the dips. The mains of ribs and salmon were superb and once again, the serving of the ribs was very large but too good to leave. There's a well priced wine list with a good variety to choose from and the food is reasonably priced. We finished the evening by heading upstairs to finish our wine and some people watching. We're jealous Coffs is lucky to have this place and almost enough to make us want to move there. What a great find! Pity it's a few hours down the highway.
