A little on the expensive side but good food. Recommend booking table near window overlooking water. Predinner drinks at bar during Happy Hour recommended before to keep costs down View all feedback.

We're staying at the Pacific Bay Terraces, found this 'Grabit & Go' brochure in our room, which appeared awesome. It's resort style takeaway from this restaurant but they also offer room service for a charge. We were prepared to pay for room service delivery but were refused when we rang. Apparently our unit isn't one of those managed by Novotel. I get that, though it seems silly to deliver to the unit next to mine,... View all feedback.
We attended the bayside Bar Grill for a wedding. The food staff and atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal. The wedding was an alternate drop and my husband received the pork belly and I had prawns WOW, we thought this was the main as it...was very substantial in size. Flavors, presentation seriously amazing! The next day we had my parents come out with the kids for breakfast. From the big breakie to the bacon and egg roll to the pancakes to the avocado on toast all amazing. Service was great. Couldn't fault this restaurant.
I was hesitant to eat here, given some of the other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. I think some of the other reviewers may have been expecting a fine dining restaurant, which may have led to disappointment. This is a casual, counter-feed restaurant, so keep...that in mind when ordering. I had battered whiting, which was fresh, crispy and delicious, and hubby had pizza which was also enjoyable. Good value and satisfying.
Went on a Tuesday night not knowing it was pizza only. We paid each for a Canadian Club and a watermelon cruiser. We then ordered a meatlovers and a proccuto and rocket pizza. The food arrived in good time however the meatlovers was greasy...and I could not eat more than one slice of my pizza. The rocket tasted unwashed and was used as a garnish on the plate and the proccuto just slapped on top, we paid for pizza and the proccuto had a gelatin texture as neither the rocket or proccuto were actually cooked into the pizza. As my husband and I came for our fancy night out meal since our wedding days ago we're very disappointed with the food. The staff were great though.
Bit of a joke that you need to order at the desk your meal go to the bar yourself. movement than necessary if people during Covid when there was ample staff clearing tables bringing out orders , found out hour after...been seated that there was no table service. Order came out for people over an hour period, last people waited half an hour longer than the other not a lot eaten as very average preparation of food lacking any seasoning, couple of pizzas where barely eaten due to not been cooked . No salt pepper, no water for tables . Our last visit was years ago when we frequently dined here but I must say it’s certainly gone down hill. People serving where very friendly helpful but running it like a pub isn’t working
The service was great very friendly however the food has really let them down. I ordered the angel hair pasta with prawns and it was very bland and the prawns had been cut up into very small pieces and not very many of them.I couldn’t...finish it. mouthfuls and I was done. Hubby ordered the steak to be medium rare and it was well and truely overdone and again just bland. Best thing I had was a side salad.
