This is exactly what you would expect to find right off the highway in rural PA. The menu is straightforward for a family restaurant diner type place no surprises just good home cooked meals. I was here for breakfast and I got french toast with a side of bacon (4 slices). Nothing was over or under done and the French toast was not soggy in the middle. The waitress refilled my coffee a couple times while passing. My friend got over easy eggs, corned beef hash, and hash browns with rye toast. He said it was all well made and delicious, especially the corned beef. The waitress was nice and welcoming. It's a little odd how you have to enter their parking lot there are a lot of big rigs around but google will get you there fine.
I absolutely love this hidden gem! After 30 years of driving trucks, it's refreshing to discover these quaint mom-and-pop places off the beaten path. I arrived as soon as they opened this morning, right behind several locals and a few fellow truckers, and was immediately welcomed and given a choice of where to sit. The menu was brought to me right away along with my drink order. I had read several reviews before coming in for breakfast and felt a bit hesitant, but after experiencing the meal, I can only offer my highest praise for this establishment. My order was taken quickly and served even faster! I was amazed at how efficiently they operated without sacrificing accuracy. I ordered corned beef hash with eggs (over easy) and an extra egg, along with light hash browns. Everything was fantastic! The coffee was hot and refilled multiple times, though it was a bit on the weaker side. Still, it was enjoyable overall. I will definitely be returning!
