The Gentry - Cochrane

This café is fantastic with a great selection of baked goods and sandwiches. The atmosphere is spacious and inviting.

The restaurant had a very cool atmosphere inside and we received great service from our server. The restaurant also had a large outdoor patio and offered both regular and gourmet coffee options, which were very good.

I have visited The Gentry multiple times and have tried various drinks here - I am always satisfied and never disappointed.

We stopped in here a couple of times during our recent visit to Cochrane. The Gentry maintains its high quality of both coffee and food. It is also a pleasant place to sit for a break and offers outdoor seating in summer.

Yes, some of their food is interesting and unique, BUT. overpriced beverages for the size you get, and typically loud music (for the employees more than the patrons)...you can hardly have a conversation. The last two times I was there, my lattes have not been hot enough, and when you bring it to their attention, they look at you like you're "so fussy". They aren't heating up the milk enough, and my lattes have been luke warm, at best...all for a premium price. No, we have too many other options in Cochrane now. I'm not paying for that.
