Mehtab East Indian Cuisine - Cochrane

Although I really miss having the lunch buffet, the lunch special at $12.99 works for me. I am not sure that some of the guys with a hearty appetite would find that 3 pieces of butter chicken along with a curry vegetable side, one pakora and a fresh naan are sufficient for their lunch, however. The food is very good and the servers very pleasant. I appreciate a place where you still get a lunch for under $20.

Went with a friend from Vancouver who has eaten in a LOT of Indian places. He was very impressed. Food was very tasty, Great selection. Preet gave great service. Jag offering free food to the needy speaks to his commitment to our community.

The food and service at this restaurant were amazing. We initially weren't sure what to expect as the place was busy with takeout orders and had a few tables taken. We thought they had a buffet on Sundays and decided to leave, but the owner stopped us and asked why. We decided to stay and it turned out to be the best decision. The special was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the staff made us feel at home. Some of the best East Indian food I've ever had. The special included 3 plates and naan bread, with some extra treats as well. The bill was very reasonable for the portion and quality of food we received. Thank you for a great meal, we will definitely be back. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

We moved to Cochrane from Calgary and are big Indian food lovers. Mehtab never disappoints. Of all the amazing and authentic places we've tried in Calgary, this place actually ranks in our top 3 which is amazing for a small town! The butter chicken is outstanding. If you're a paneer lover, all of their paneer dishes are to die for. Mehtab is by far my favourite restaurant in Cochrane!
