What User likes about Mackay's Ice Cream:
For people who think this ice cream is overpriced, think again. They still use the original recipe which means it doesn't have all the additives that you find in the ice cream at the grocery store. This place is a local gem. If you think the product or service is less than stars I suggest you open your own ice cream place and find out just how challenging it is. read moreMcKay’s Ice Cream, a charming small-town gem in Cochrane, draws crowds with its unique flavors and quality ingredients. While the ice cream is consistently praised for its deliciousness, some customers note the prices and portion sizes have become less favorable over the years. Despite long lines, which can lead to impatience, the efficient service and friendly staff keep the experience enjoyable. The nostalgic ambiance and outdoor seating add to the charm, making it a beloved destination. Overall, McKay’s remains a worthwhile stop for ice cream lovers seeking rich flavors and a unique treat, though some cherish local alternatives more.
