I went with my family to the caffe to get a piece of black forests. the waitress took my order and first I thought everything was in order, but a few minutes later another waitress came by and said they wouldn't serve. . View all feedback.
Nice cafe in the middle of the old city. Has a nice outdoor cafe in the back that faces the mosel river. We went during the winter so it was cold but they...
On a beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon, the cafe was very well frequented and we were lucky to get a free table in the cafe. The outdoor seating with a view of the Moselle was also well occupied. Despite the many customers, one was served quickly...and friendly. The selection of cakes is great and the products are really tasty. To criticize, however, is that you are forced to order a pot of coffee. If you want a cup of coffee, you can order a cappuccino, but it is served in a very large cup.
I was a coach driver, now retired on the Rhine/Mosel circuit and always suggested and recommended my passengers each time) to visit Cafe Flair for our lunch to visit. There was always a wonderful and very enthusiastically friendly welcome from Madam and...also the lovely and very efficient ladies who served us. The menu is classic and classy German foods (try the Goulash Suppe) and patisserie of the highest standard which is expected by our German cousins. there are other Cafes, Restaurants and Delicatessen in the same street, but I can recommend this one only. There are entrances. One on the main street, Moselpromenade, and one on the river side, with tables outside in the sun trap frontage. Also there is a quiet dining room upstairs with a delightful balcony overlooking the riverside street with a most gorgeous view of the river, road and passers by. There is also a small sweet ware shop, just inside the entrance on the left, with the off sales patisserie on the right. All in all, an EXCELLENT venue for a light lunch and/ or Cafe und kuchen Try it.... you will love it Majestic Mike and all the Majestic drivers and tour guides.
For pieces of cake and coffees. Very poor service, verging on rude. Great location, just across from the River Mosel but apart from that I would avoid. I'm sure there are better places in Cochem . If you do decide to visit...it is worth noting that this establishment is cash only payment.
We visited Cochem on a very sunny day in September, the place was heaving with tourists. Maybe that's why the waitresses were so unfriendly verging on rude. There was a large selection of cakes on display, mine was pretty tasteless to be honest. Two drinks...(non alcoholic) and two pieces of cake cost They only accept cash payment. Not somewhere I would go back to.
