Cobh's cozy, charming pub offers a warm atmosphere and friendly service. The local regulars are welcoming and engaging, with Mark and Dan standing out as bartenders who make you feel like family. The historic feel, roaring turf fire, and lively conversation create a true Irish pub experience. While the food options are limited, the focus here is on great company and genuine hospitality. Was Anonym at Connie Doolans a mag?
Very nice and comfortable. Will go there again. Cobh needed an alternative bar to the other ones around. Hope it stays as a Place of conversation. Could do with some people skills. Shouting and roaring at people. If they do not want to serve you just say so quietly. View all feedback.

What Jerry Babington dislikes about Connie Doolans:
Connie Doolans offers an intimate and charming atmosphere, free of any TV screens. While the experience was just okay, the menu was satisfying enough to make me want to return. View all feedback.

Great spot for a drink nice cosy bar and good banter. Music every so often as well

An authentic little Irish pub. very friendly service a great pint. good if you are in cobh.

On the last Sunday it happened. we were for the weekend in cork and visited cobh to see where a big tante from 1920 went to new york. what a pub and what a renter. could have spent the whole day with the chat. that is a real gem of a bar. do not go on looking for modernity and raffinesse, but if there is a great prise of guinness, talk and a real feeling of the history they are, they will not go far wrong when they return this "three" to the rare "ol times. the place is. alas, for sale. catch it as long as you can!

We were immediately warmly received by Steve, the barkeep with superb Irish coffees and friendly conversation after our overnight flight from the States. He, along with the other local gents at the bar, gave us a solid recommendations for local food and fare in Cobh and other towns along our way. Slightly apart from the crowds and bulk of the other waterfront pubs, Connie Doolan's offers a heartfelt welcome, smooth drinks, and authentic local atmosphere. I'll always cherish my first and best drink in Ireland at Connie Doolan's! And cheers to the Sunday-drinkin' gents at the bar and our laughs together!
