Fantastic local pub! The regulars were so friendly and funny; they welcomed us like family and even gave us some extra crisps they had for Christmas Eve. If you can picture a typical Irish pub, this is it... I hope to go back someday. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
Great pints, great people, great atmosphere. What more could you want out of an Irish pub
To feel at home with open arms in a land with new friends that feel like you’ve known them your entire life. Smile, laughs, and memories for a lifetime. A must stay for a pint and whiskey. Slainte’
Had the most fun night here. The music was amazing! If you get a chance to see Ben Hurley play it’s 1000% worth it! Great people and so welcoming to visitors!
We were immediately warmly received by Steve, the barkeep with superb Irish coffees and friendly conversation after our overnight flight from the States. He, along with the other local gents at the bar, gave us a solid recommendations for local food and fare in Cobh and other towns along our way. Slightly apart from the crowds and bulk of the other waterfront pubs, Connie Doolan's offers a heartfelt welcome, smooth drinks, and authentic local atmosphere. I'll always cherish my first and best drink in Ireland at Connie Doolan's! And cheers to the Sunday-drinkin' gents at the bar and our laughs together!
