Drumroaster Coffee

Description

I first discovered this roaster at another coffee shop in Vernon (Ratio, which is also awesome). The Kenyan beans were so delicious that I went back and bought another bag the next day. Today, I visited Cobble Hill in person for the first time and was impressed by the knowledgeable staff, delicious pastries, and selection.

Make sure you never pass by Drumroaster without stopping in. They definitely serve the best coffee in the area. The atmosphere is fantastic, and their beans are worth seeking out to bring home. The baked goods are among the finest you'll find, especially the AMAZING brioche. Don't miss out on their savory ham and cheese croissant, but be sure to arrive early since they sell out quickly. The coffee and homemade nut milks are exceptional. You can take their beans home or find them at other local coffee shops. Their passion for a great cup of coffee is evident!

I first came across this roaster at another coffee shop in Vernon (Ratio is fantastic too). The Kenyan beans were so delicious that I returned the next day to buy another bag. Today, I visited Cobble Hill for the first time in person, and I was truly impressed by the knowledgeable staff, delectable pastries, and the range of coffee brewing equipment available. Furthermore, this is the first roaster or café I've encountered on the island that offers light roasts, single origins, and maintains a transparent supply chain. I love being able to learn about the different beans I’m drinking and the farmers who grow them. To top it all off, Carson took the time to give me a tour of the roastery, answering all my questions along the way. It was a pleasure to chat with someone who is genuinely passionate about coffee. I highly recommend this business—five stars aren’t enough!

Great roasted locally coffee, homemade foods, and friendly accommodating staff. I’ve supported this coffee shop for years and have never been disappointed. If you’ve never stopped here, I would suggest making it a habit when you pass through Cobble Hill!

I've never visited the café in person, but I did buy a pound of their "julekaffe" beans. Although I typically don’t prefer medium roast, and it’s possible that the beans were spoiled, I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted.
