Just talk to the bartenders for transient slips. They make you feel like a regular by time you leave. This pirate will certainly stop again when visiting Cobb island!

The term corresponds to the colloquial concept of sailors while on ship have a dedicated wooden cask used to serve water (or rum) which becomes the focus of congregation and casual discussion. Whether one goes for food, for a drink or for a social gathering..... you will NEVER be disappointed! Although we no longer reside there, people who don 't have often ask me what 's it like to live on Cobb Island. My answer has and always will be: Think of hard working, fun loving bunch of drinkers who have a serious fishing or worse, a boating problem! I usually get the initial perplexed look and I will sit back to watch the light bulb turn on once my verbal description sets in. Good folk indeed who often gather at the well known and loved libations central and review the daily events, world or otherwise! A place where you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm smile, a friendly hello and an honest inquiry as to you and your loved ones general well being all the while a drink is being made ready for you and will be waiting when done with your conversation(s)!!! Bob and Nancy are fantastic owners and wonderful people who put their heart and soul into the business and genuinely care that you, the customer have a great experience. I can honestly say that you are indeed in good hands when you step through those doors. The name of the place is open to many different versions and colorful advertising slogans, all in good fun and that 's what you can expect when you arrive.... good folk who care about each other and treat you like family! Like I said, we used to live there. We truly miss the people and the fun times we had. You will not be disappointed.
