Le Saint-Jacques - Coaticook
Menu
A comprehensive menu of Le Saint-Jacques from Coaticook featuring all 34 dishes and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Nestled in Coaticook, this restaurant presents a varied culinary landscape. While the French onion soup garners praise, dishes like the salmon salad leave diners wanting more, often feeling basic and uninspired. Service appears to fluctuate between attentive and lackadaisical, with some patrons enjoying personalized care and others facing forgetful waitstaff. The restaurant's ambiance varies, with suggestions for updates needed to enhance its appeal. However, highlights like the generous surf and turf options and delicious shrimp bang dish can satisfy many. Ultimately, while it holds potential, diners may wish to explore other local establishments before returning.

What রহমত খান dislikes about Le Saint-Jacques:
Meh. A few locals suggested this restaurant for dinner. The French onion soup was delicious, but the Salmon salad was disappointing. It was basically a chopped Iceberg salad with a few cucumbers and red onion topped with canned salmon. View all feedback.
Came here for some coffee and rollThe cinnamon rolls after greatThe coffee is pretty good tooVery nice coffee shop.
The good: several varieties of fresh brewed coffee to choose from (self serve) The flavors all pretty much taste the same, however.
Gooey cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches and coffee wrapped up in a cute little Main Street shop.

I want to start by giving a shoutout to our server who went above and beyond to make us feel like VIPs. Despite language barriers, we were able to communicate with the help of Google translate. We ordered three delicious meals, one of which was gluten-free and was prepared perfectly. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, with a bar and about 20-25 tables. The menu is focused on Greek cuisine, featuring meat skewers, fish, rice, and Greek roast potatoes. They offer an English menu as well as a separate gluten-free menu. We enjoyed a salmon dish, a beef souvlaki plate, and a flavorful rice dish with spiced chicken. Each meal came with a choice of Greek or garden salad. I would give the food a 4 out of 5 rating, but the overall experience at this restaurant deserves a 5 due to its cleanliness, attentive service, gluten-free options, and affordable prices. Our bill for 3 meals and 2 Sangrias came to $64 CAD (approximately $48 USD).
