The only decent item was the bottled beer. We ordered four dishes for four people, all of which were subpar at best. I specifically asked about the seafood on the pizza and was told there were shrimp and scallops. However, it turned out to be a questionable mixture of fish scraps and red seasoning. The other three dishes were also not enjoyable. To make matters worse, there were an excessive amount of flies inside the restaurant. Although Yelp rated them 3 stars, another review site gave them 4 stars. I believe Yelp's rating is more accurate.
The restaurant offers a diverse menu that I find to be too extensive. They serve everything from escargot appetizers to chicken souvlaki plates to pizza. As a result, none of the dishes stand out as particularly good. I believe that a more focused menu would result in a higher quality product.
The first time I went to Arcopole restaurant was when I first came to Quebec for a visit in 1979. I loved the pizza and poutine . Now that I live in the region this is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at. The CHICKEN SOUVLAKI with greek potatoes ,rice and ceaser salad are my favorite. I ask for the sauce on the side so i can add as much as i want to the salad, but it is really good!. My husband always orders the Acrople Spaghetti Special ,it has mushrooms, onions and peppers. Their lasagna is really delicious also. We have always enjoyed the ambience and the service. The only thing that would make it better is if they would serve more cream potatoes, and warm buns
The pizza was delicious. I ordered the pizza-ghetti and the bottom of the pizza was a bit soggy. Other than that, everything else was enjoyable.
Food was typical Greek food, like you would get at Casa Grecque, but better. There is also a kids menu. The place was loaded. It was a Saturday night before an autumn night before Foresta Lumina event. The only bad thing was the other customers that were so loud we couldn't talk.
