Le Coffret de l'Imagination - Feedback

Was Earl Lakin at Le Coffret de l'Imagination a mag?
This place was a jewel...seriously, the food was great, from the starters to the main course. The service was as good as the food. Family business worked together to satisfy customers. The pricing of the menu is very comfortable served for the quality of the three. definitely back. View all feedback.
What Alex L dislikes about Le Coffret de l'Imagination:
Good service and excellent atmosphere, but the quality (quantity)-price ratio for the food is not there. $15 for 3-4 crackers, a little pear jelly and 3-4 pieces of cheese...That being said, the taste is good and the ingredients are fresh.A good soup with local ingredients would be a great addition to the menu. Excellent meal from 1st to last service. we chose trout as a main meal (miam). reception and impeccable service and what to say about the place. located on the foresta lumina site, we only have to get out of the restaurant and are ready for the visit of foresta lumina. to live!
We opted for the menu at $29 including the glass of blackcurrant liqueur, the entrance (raclette), the dish (inch) and dessert (sugar rate). The dishes were good but simple compared to the requested price. the staff was without real desire to please us, some servers didn't even say hello. The place is interesting in terms of its proximity to foresta lumina but if you want a good value price, this is not the best option.
Restaurant with a nice boutique cachet, very welcoming and food is delicious, quality exceptional price not too expensive and easy to go see foresta lumina
Beautiful place, welcoming staff, beautiful decor on the waterfront. It's worth the detour. the plate of the terroir was delicious.
Nice welcome, excellent meal, nice site. If we pass by coaticook we will certainly return!
Located near the Foresta Lumina site, this restaurant offers enchanting decor, a beautiful terrace, and efficient service despite being filled with tourists. However, some diners were disappointed with the food, finding the Caesar salad and parmesan melts lacking in authenticity and taste. While the ambiance and service were praised, gluten-free options were limited, leading to a bad reaction for those with celiac disease. Despite mixed reviews, some guests enjoyed the warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious meals, making it a perfect stop before exploring the Foresta Lumina show. Overall, the experience seems to vary depending on personal preferences and dietary needs.

Place is really nice, beautiful building, beautiful craftsmanship. Food and service was good. However, my wife Zöliakie, we asked for gluten-free options and was told that salads were ok. Really short time after she reacted strongly, pretty sure it cross-contamination. Maybe gluten intolerance people would be good, but would not recommend celiac disease.
Excellent food and courteous staff. I had only 20 minutes before tour bus departure time, I wanted a quick bite and cool drink. The staff suggested and served grilled cheese sandwich with salad and I opted for IPA.Everything was delicious.
Awesome food and hospitality plus the location

The restaurant offers only a French menu. The food is delicious. Just be careful of the hot sauce that might spill during service. The ambiance is pleasant and relaxing.
This used to be a great experience to combine with Forest Lumina. While the food was never very good, it was especially disappointing this last time that we went. Sometimes you order the wrong thing on the menu but we were a group of 4 and ordered 3 different things and none of us liked our food. Don't think we'll be going back.
Very good service, excellent food with local foods, and a very nice terrace!
Charming, perfect location and delicious local selection. The cassis sangria and tasting platter was exceptional!

I had an amazing discovery in Coaticook recently. I visited Le Coffret for the first time while exploring Foresta Lumina, and I must say, I have only positive things to say about this place. As I was in the Eastern Townships, I decided to try some local specialties. I started with the smoked trout appetizer and then had the trout filet as my main course. The dishes were fresh, beautifully presented, and generous in portion size. The food was a bit too spicy for my liking, but that was a minor detail in an otherwise great experience. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is charming, with wood and brick walls adding to the cozy feel. I look forward to returning on a summer day to enjoy their spacious patio and try their homemade coconut pie. Until next time, Coaticook!
This restaurant is a fantastic option for dinner before attending the Foresta Luminosa show! The smoked trout table d'hote was exceptional from start (with cases liquor) to finish (with maple sugar pie). The service was welcoming, amiable, and quick. Looking forward to returning to experience the variety of local dishes!
