Do not expect them to keep their reservation! Simply ridiculous, we have booked a table before we arrived, they told us that our table is not yet available, but we can sit on another smaller table and in minutes our table will be available. they lead us to the new little table that was not suitable for people who they say they can sit here, but in minutes they have to get up because this table is reserved, what happened in gottes name with our table? when they were rude, we decided to go, never return.
The name of the restaurant is today cimbru. I tried to eat her twice. the suppe of the day was good, but on the salty side. I tried carnati salsiccia with kartoffels (medicle sausages with kartoffels, which were probably made from potato flakes because it...not tasted like real kartoffels), snitel crocant in panko was o.k, but not something they would order twice, fillet mignon per piece) with kartoffels and truffles. the flesh was good, but the sauce on the fake kartoffels on the heavy side. the hummus with focaccia is fresh and tasty and the homemade chocolate delicious. I would go back for snacks and gloomy, but main course is moderate. they eat outside, and they try to make the heat with fans bearable, but on a very hot day it is simply not pleasant to eat hot food outside.
Me and my partner came here for his birthday. We hired a bubble and stayed for two courses, coffee, wine and cocktails. My partner had been here before alone and recommended we come together I'm glad we did. We were served by the same...tall boy who served him before. He was lovely. Spoke brilliant English and was super friendly. Since we came at and were in a bubble we were even allowed to play our own music which was nice. The food here is unbelievable, they even give you different types of salt which is super neat. The price point is a little higher than most other places but the quality of food and service is well worth it. An absolute gem of Cluj! We will be back (give that boy a raise
We reserved a table for in this place for a late evening dinner. It was very important to have this reservation settled as our accommodation was outside Cluj. Upon our arrival the only free table was the only one in the rain. The staff...had no solution for us even though we proposed to move the table a few feet under the umbrella and the only recommendation we received was to try a different place. We ended up eating in a random place on the streets of Cluj as the hour was really late for a new reservation.
Very nice service, very friendly and quick. The rose lemonade was interesting, but the soup was definitely great! I would also recommend the steak burger. Thank you, guys!
