The front of the buildi... read more While I drove the country through Clovis, I had planned a lunch break. I came over the lunch box and decided to stop. I'm so glad I did. The front of the building does not look like much, but it is large and so enchanting inside. A very cute Shabby chic, and immaculately clean. Almost all tables were full, so it is definitely popular with locals. Each person in my group of four ordered the petite sandwich plus one side. Definitely a full sandwich together with potato salad and peach ice tea. The service was friendly and fast considering how busy they were. This was a great place for a relaxed lunch on a long trip.

The diverse menu items made it a bit challenging to decide, as there were so many appealing options. Everyone in our group sampled something unique, and we all shared enthusiastic feedback throughout the meal. Be sure to add this restaurant to your itinerary when visiting Clovis/Portales in New Mexico!
