This place consistently serves the best authentic Mexican food in town, especially for lunch. I highly recommend visiting for high-quality dishes at reasonable prices. The King Burrito is definitely a standout and will leave you feeling satisfied. They also offer some delicious Mexican sodas. Plus, the staff is always helpful, friendly, and respectful. What Martha Bernal dislikes about Servicio Azteca:
The restaurant isn't what it used to be. I'm not sure if the woman I spoke to today is the owner, but she was quite rude. When I expressed my hope that the pork would be good this time and not resemble chicharrones, she suggested I just go to McDonald's if I didn't like it. I explained that I had come back to see if things had improved. She also claimed it was the second time I had left a message, but that wasn't tru... View all feedback.

The best tacos and authentic Mexican soups I've had in a long time. Just a heads up, it gets quite busy during lunchtime. Also, check out the neighboring store for Latin groceries. I've made amazing tacos at home using meat from their butcher and their homemade tortillas.

After reading reviews decided to give this local hot spot a shot. The location has plenty of parking and ample seating for dinning in. The decor is a bit dated but is well kept and clean. The menu is extensive with a wide variation of Mexican food. The set up is you go to counter to order and pay then they deliver your food to your table. Decided on enchiladas with green sauce and chile relleno. Order was delivered quickly and warm. The chips and salsa were tasty and they have a large salsa bar. I didn't care for the beef enchilada but the chicken and cheese were excellent. The relleno was not much to look at but was surprisingly delicious. The beans and rice were well cooked but nothing to write home about. Price wise pretty average but definitely will return.

Authentic cuisine, excellent service, cleanliness, reasonable prices, and plenty of parking make this place a great choice. There's also a market next door if you want to purchase ingredients to prepare meals at home. We called in our order ahead of time, and it was ready when we arrived. The location is conveniently situated just off the main road, making it easy to access if you're passing through and looking for something tasty. I give it a solid 4 stars!

The first thing to say is that this restaurant seems to be listed under two different names, the other being La Espiga de Oro . Not sure why... Anyway, everything we ordered was great. The beans in particular were about the best either me or my wife have ever had. You can be sure they use some lard in there somewhere, if my sense of smell serves me right. The cheese chile relleno was delicious, and my wife 's enchiladas were surprisingly tasty for the (apparently) unseasoned chicken inside. The chips were fresh and the sauces interesting. The guacamole was cold and spot on, although it needed salt badly IMO. (note: the guacamole is a menu item, not from the sauce bar). Be warned, some of the sauces at the sauce bar can be very hot! Not for your average Northerner. And the decor and atmosphere are nothing to write home about. Kind of stark. But the food is good, and that 's the main thing; you 're not going to come here on a fancy date anyway... So give this place a try when in Clovis.

The number one Mexican food restaurant in Clovis, sign me up. After trying to visit a couple other times when they were closed I finally was able to sample their goodness. I had the tacos, very authentic, two barbacoa and two al pastor. Loved them both. The salsa bar is wonderful. Service is cafeteria style so some may not like that but the food is worth it. I can wait to go back to Clovis but can't wait to go back to Servicio Azteca.

This place has great authentic tacos. When we went, the toppings bar was out of quite a few things though. Homemade chips are always a welcomed appetizer.

Got the tacos al pastor with rice and beans. Very good, but not the best I've had. Good value: you get air conditioning and quality on par with a decent taco truck, for not much more money.

I absolutely loved my visit to this restaurant! The food was incredible—every dish was delicious! The atmosphere truly felt like Mexico, with beautiful paintings and decorations. The service was friendly and made us feel like part of the family. I still don't understand why it closed down, and I sincerely hope it reopens. It's the best place for authentic Mexican food around. We would always stop by their grocery store next door to pick up some Pan Dulce and tortillas as well.

Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican restaurant in town and likely the top dining spot overall! I always opt for the tacos, but I've heard nothing but positive feedback about their other dishes. The prices are fantastic, you get fresh homemade chips while you wait, and the fresh salsa bar is the cherry on top.

They serve the best carne asada burritos and tacos in the area! Everything is fresh and clean, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Don't forget to grab a pack of fresh flour or corn tortillas for a delightful family dinner!

The birria tacos, accompanied by chopped onions and cilantro and served with the birria stew on the side, were absolutely delicious. Dipping your crunchy taco into the beef stew creates a mouthwatering experience with every bite.

By the way, I think the USDA should enforce stricter regulations.

The wait for our food was extremely long, and when it finally arrived, everything was cold.
