Blake's Lotaburger - Clovis

DISGUSTING CHILI!! ABSOLUTELY NO STARS!! My family and I were really looking forward to dining at this place. We ordered a burger meal, a chicken sandwich, a Frito pie, and a pumpkin pie shake to eat in. However, the food was served in to-go bags, and there were no Fritos or shake included. When I went to the register to inquire about the shake, I was told that they were preparing it fresh and that it would be out shortly. The burger was good, while the chicken was just mediocre. The person who took our order was quite lacking in personality—it felt very mechanical. Overall, the experience left much to be desired, especially in terms of customer service. But then again, I suppose I shouldn't expect too much from fast food!

I walked in and was immediately hit by an unpleasant odor. The floors were dirty, and they don't offer high chairs for small children. The seasoned fries were soggy, and despite ordering my burger without cheese, it arrived with cheese on it. There was also no ice in the ice machine. It's clear why I haven't chosen to come here often since it opened. I could even see food all over the kitchen floor from the order counter.

Service is extremely slow. The quality is less than other burger joints in The area. When you can't compete with McDonald's for quality something is wrong. The staff isn't very quick with orders and running orders out to cars slows the process down more than it helps. They're already short staffed but somehow the reasoning behind running food to cars one by one makes more sense than using the drive through properly. Simple fact. I am very disappointed with Blakes lotta burger. The Clovis, NM location. Our first time there today, and we can already tell the employees are only there to do there job and nothing more. They didn?t care to say a single word besides the total. And to tell us to park in a spot and wait for the food. That?s fine. But then our food gets brought out, and handed straight to us.
