The atmosphere and food are excellent, and the service is commendable. I particularly enjoyed the combination meals, which were fresh and delicious. The drink prices were reasonable, although the margaritas don't quite match up to those at other places. What Chichis chichis doesn't like about Rey Azteca:
If you are Mexican, I recommend avoiding this restaurant. They don’t serve traditional tacos, and the ones they do have are disappointing—definitely not on par with true carnitas tacos. The ceviche was served without any toast, which was unexpected. We ordered asada tacos and they came wrapped in dry corn tortillas. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 1. View all feedback.
Delicious and authentic Mexican food, just the right price for my budget!! I recommend the lunch phajitas, with Carne Asada or either steak and cheese Burrito!!
Wonderful family oriented restaurant. Food is great and the margaritas even better. We love coming here. It's cozy and welcoming. Staff is very attentive.
A perfect stop after a tough hike. We ordered off the Lite menu I had the delicious taco salad (tender shredded chicken, perfectly fried shell) and hubby the burrito. We could not have picked a better spot to cool down, catch our breath and enjoy our late lunch.
I just wanted to say that after shopping nearby, my husband's blood sugar drastically dropped and I stopped in yesterday to grab a quick iced soda. The guy at the front grabbed it quickly after learning what the issue was. I appreciate it so much and I'll actually try the restaurant now from just this experience alone. Seriously this guy was so nice.
Spent $120 tonight and was given the wrong food after waiting 30 minutes for it. Notified the waiter and he said Chinga tu madre and didn 't offer to fix it. Wouldn 't let me talk to anyone else and I still had to pay for it. Never will be back.
