Good food, but it's all just chicken chips and beef. Not much seating
Beware, the chunky chip NNO LONGER DOES FISH! so not a chipper any more.
I recently visited The Chunky Chip on June Bank Holiday Sunday at 6 o'clock and was disappointed to find that they no longer offer fish on their menu. The customers in line with me were also not pleased with this change. I ended up ordering chicken tenders and chips, and while the chicken was mediocre, the chips were excellent. I couldn't help but feel that they would have been even better with some fresh cod, haddock, or hake. It's a shame that a place with a name like Chunky Chip doesn't have any fish options. Perhaps a name change to something like Just Another Standard Takeaway would be more appropriate.
