We arrived about 30 minutes before the evening menu started, we were invited to come back later and turned away. The kitchen was alive, equipment running and the floor looked set and ready to go. Why couldn’t the guy just offer us a drink and browse through the menu until they ‘reopen’? That’s hospitable! Or better yet, just close the door so you don’t have to stand around like a fool before someone realises you’re there to tell you to try again later. If all the staff are in and ready, why are they turning people away Disappointed as was recommended here, but probably won’t be returning. If it was a Saturday, I get it, but a Tuesday? Surely they’d want an extra couple of covers I hear it’s quiet mid week. We were here for an anniversary meal and quite willing to spend some money, that’s why we came here.
