Hammerjax Grill - Clifton Township

Landed on Thursday after Hammerjax, the kitchen broke my food. Asked for boiled onions and became raw, but a pretty brunette that the bartender repaired it immediately and offered me a drink. Crowd is friendly and employees feel like home. Overall, I would come here all the time if I didn't live 40 minutes away. Good work Hammerjax

Best bar in the Poconos! Owner and family are the best! Employees are always happy and service is the great!Wish I could go here more often. Food is reasonably priced and always delicious. Ambiance at the bar is always enjoyable.

I was excited to come here, because I wanted wings. I was not disappointed. Food: The wings are a solid 5/5 in terms of flavor/crispy However if you're a spice queen like me, you'll probably be a little underwhelmed, but they were good enough it didn't matter Pizza Logs are not remotely common, and they were insanely delicious and crispy Drink: Prices are low, drinks are strong but DELICIOUS Atmosphere: Low low music, fun stuff on tv I enjoyed electronic dart machine: is only $1 but you can play score, so it can keep you busy for a while, im talking 30 minutes ; a very friendly patron helped us get the machine going, get situated, and him (and the bartender were quick to help with change for that and other things bc of our crinkly dollar bills pool table: $1 and kept up well claw machine: .50 a game, I won something! Super cute stuffed animals, with some nostalgia ones from Nickelodeon in the 90s thrown in gambling machines: (didn't do, but they look fun; there was a regular on one the whole time I was at the bar, and he was very nice and encouraged me at the claw machine Insanely friendly patrons. I was a little nervous, I've walked into a in this area bar being an out of Towner (no less black at that and have been ignored and glared at. Every patron was nice, and seemed to be having a wonderful time and chatted with us as we played games and such! Staff: Tattooed gal: very friendly and super funny; quick at getting our drinks to us Older lady bartender: super nice and attentive Other random staff: everyone seemed happy to be at work, and chatting with the regulars 5/5 Y'all know that's rare for me, but if you're in the area visiting, stop in here! It's not only a great place for a cheap date during the week (we spent $5, on over an hour worth of different activities, so with food 4 drinks *nice* tip for less than $65 , but definitely a place to hit on weekends with friends too! We will 100% be going again when we visit our family!

It pains me to leave this review--but it was warranted. While the food appeared tasty, we had an extended wait for our to-go order, but, more importantly, there was a long black hair in 3 out of the 4 entrees.

It was a fun environment. Clean inside. The service was pretty excellent, very nice and personable. We are not locals, so we didn't know what to expect. I got a tossed salad with grilled chicken. I mean, it's a salad from a place that serves bar food, but it was fresh and pretty good. I got wing sauce on it, instead of dressing. The sauce was a bit different than I expected, but still tasty. My friend got a Philly sandwich and fries. The sandwich was huge and had a good amount of melted cheese. He loved it. The fries were average, but they were served hot. So, I'm not sure when we'll be back in the area, but if we are, we will return here, for sure.
