42 Deli - Clifton Forge

I'm going to 42 deli for lunch almost every day. I tried everything on the menu and I'm still finding something that's not delicious. I've never been to a restaurant with a friendly staff. I highly recommend this place.

We wanted to take my mother on his birthday for lunch and she wanted to try this Deli. My husband and I were originally from Chicago and the first thing we met when we went into the door was the familiar smell of a Chicago delicacies. He ordered the French Dip Sandwich and my mother and I had both reubens. Sandwiches come with a kosher pimple, wavy potato chips and a drink. The food was great and did not disappoint. Portions are right. I didn't ask if they had potato salad or Coleslaw or Makkaroni salad, but that would be nice with the sandwiches. The iced tea was perfect to choose the coffee strong and hot with several creamer flavors. There was a delicious looking cheese cake available for dessert, but we were too full! Prices are not fair for the specified quality. Note that 42Deli does not serve breakfast at this time, just lunch, although some Google sites say differently. Maybe one day they have a breakfast menu, they say, but for now they do not have facilities for making eggs.

Clean restaurant, friendly staff, good food and cheap rates and servings give you enough for your Buck!!! My friendly place.... highly recommended

We're out of town just because we were hungry and we accidentally parked over the street. What a pleasure. For a very reasonable price, we were perfectly made subways (a Ridgeway and an Italian), chips, delicious potato salad and drinks served. Since the top was jar at the counter, we pre-tiped. Our mistake didn't go back to push a few more dollars in the glass after we ate. We make sure we fix this on our next visit.

Awesome atmosphere, great deli style sandwiches that are made to order with freshly cut deli meats and vegetables. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the area.
