We absolutely loved our experience here. The food was outstanding- we had a tuna tartare appetizer special, the blackened swordfish, and the sole francese. For dessert, we split the bourbon pecan pie. Everything was top tier and I highly recommend it! View all feedback.

Had a reservation but kitchen was backed up and waited over 1 hour for our dinner. Was rewarded with free appetizer but expected better service from an upscale formal establishment. Food was very good though. Hopefully just a bad service night. View all feedback.
We asked our server about the thickness of the swordfish and she indicated it would be about an inch. Three of us ordered it. Only one was this thick. It was delicious. The other 2 were about 1/2 inch and dry. We ordered the potatoes and green beans. While they were tasty they were both barely warm. Not what we've experienced before.
We were made to feel very special as we celebrated our anniversary. Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating as well as friendly. Food was delicious with wonderful presentation. The table was cleaned between courses with fresh napkins and silverware each time. Warm, moist towels were a nice touch after lobster!
Firstly, the food is absolutely delicious! BUT I will not be going to this place again. We had a reservation and hoped we could get booth seating but were told booths were reserved for larger parties. The dining room is loud and crowded. We were seated in a corner and I was comfortable but my husband who is 6'3 and large framed was quite uncomfortable. The noise level is chaotic. You can literally brush elbows with the person next to you. Next time I will definitely research ambience before blowing $200+ dollars on a restaurant with the same atmosphere as a fast food joint.
We had great service for our server Liz. She pointed me to the perfect cocktail and explained the menu. I had a wonderful lobster with pasta. You have to like garlic to love this dish; and I do. We were there 25 years ago and I couldn't wait to go back. It's been great to be back in Portland.
Great food and atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing and attentive! We got the mussels and clam linguine. Both were delicious! I think the mussels here was my favorite in Maine. Highly recommend it.
