food is good but the restaurant seems badly organized. I came with two people, ordered a cheddar pizza in the lobby, those who were with me, a vegetarian pizza and a fish and chips. First, the order was not recorded, so we had to do it again (we have waited 15 minutes,) then we change the table because ours is reserved, and when we are served, we find ourselves with Hawaiian pizza instead of the entrance and a curry... A great time, a great night... A delicious, hearty meal as it takes, tasted to wish, finally brief for us who were 3 and who were looking for a typical Irish place, we were not disappointed. And the atmosphere, then, of happiness... music, songs, dances of the public at last all we can imagine of Ireland... I repeat it a pure moment of happiness, conviviality, joy and good mood. And a big blow to the staff and especially to Julie... if you pass by Cliffden, not to miss...
Very friendly place, you are looking for a typical Irish evening!! You got it.
Wall of warmth hits you as you walk in the door from the turf stove fire which matches the warm welcome from the staff! We had lunch here the two days we were staying in Clifden ! Lovely cheese toasties and Guinness ! Nice seat for two by the window! Highly recommend
