Description
Welcome to our distinguished restaurant, where award-winning Head Chef Pascal Marinot artfully combines the culinary traditions of Provence with the vibrant flavors of Connemara. With a commitment to using only the finest local, fresh produce, our menu showcases some of the region's most celebrated ingredients, including Killary Mussels, Connemara Lamb, and Cleggan Bay Crab, all meticulously sourced to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. Having called Connemara home for the last 30 years, Pascal brings a traditional French cooking approach, transforming the area's beloved dishes into culinary delights that reflect both his roots and local heritage. Each dish is crafted with care, highlighting the rich bounty of our surroundings. This Spring, we are thrilled to unveil our new and extended Wine List, curated by the knowledgeable James Miley of Vineyard Wines. Growing up in the wine industry, James brings a wealth of experience and passion to our selections, ensuring that every palate is catered to with offerings from both new and old world vineyards. Our commitment to quality extends to our local suppliers, as we proudly source seafood from the pristine West Coast of Ireland. From mussels harvested by Killary Fjord Shellfish to the freshest catch from Connemara Fisheries, every dish is imbued with the essence of our coastline. The lush landscapes of Connemara also provide exceptional meat; our lamb thrives on the natural flora of the hills, while our beef comes from the verdant Gilligan Farm in County Roscommon. We further enhance our menu with premium, free-range duck from Silverhill Farm in Monaghan, raised in open pastures for superior quality. Join us for dinner starting at 18.00, and to ensure a seamless experience, we recommend pre-booking your table at 095-21699. While our menu evolves with the seasons, a sample menu is available for your preview below. We look forward to welcoming you to a celebration of local flavors and exceptional cuisine.

Feedback
The food was quite disappointing, as it seemed to have been prepared in the afternoon and simply reheated for the evening service. It felt like there was no experienced chef in the kitchen. The service was handled by students who were friendly, but lacked knowledge of proper etiquette. Additionally, the prices were higher than at comparable places. I would not recommend this restaurant. Fantastic! Stayed here for my hen and it was brilliant! The staff are fantastic, the room was lovely and the food was amazing, not forgetting Martin who made us cocktails! Couldn't fault a thing, would highly recommend.
Lovely place to stay, the apartments are large and comfortable and the management have gone to great lengths to ensure families have everything they need for a comfortable stay, they even dropped treats in everyday for the girls. Excellent value for money. All of the staff throughout the complex were so friendly and welcoming and brilliant with our kids. And the food was great too.
Great place to catch your breath and enjoy lunch in a beautifully repurposed railway station. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!
