God music all the time ! Even open sessions once in a while! Yes I can see people rating this place down. Well I am just speaking for myself. I have been there so many times thru the years and never been disappointed.. Owner once told me that he makes contributions( gives away money) to his community,to support kids so they can do sports and not start a career on the streets! So just remember...having a pint here and you are helping someone. I think that is fair enough! And also remember that they have had a hard time with lockdown. Its amazing to see so many local pubs, shops still hanging in there. And it was not long ago since people started coming back for real( 2023) And I hope people can enjoy their stays in sweet little Clifden! And there are several pubs to check out,If one does not suit you. Try to come at the Clifden Arts Festival in september, It is really worth it!!

Staff is friendly, food was delicious both times. We'll definitely be back during our stay in Clifden. Not to be missed if you're in town!
