The restaurant is bright and spacious, and the staff is friendly, welcoming helpful... read more Great little Mexican restaurant. The spacious outdoor interiors are covered. The restaurant is bright and spacious, and the staff is friendly, welcoming helpful. Colorful signage invites Diners to sit anywhere they like. Inside or outside. We were welcomed immediately. We needed a minute to decide and they brought us homemade tortilla chips with warm Queso salsa. All right! I had two Maistacos chorizo pollo. Gray had a carne asada chimi. Our server lets us know there was a topping/salad bar inside. It had a nice variety. We noticed that others enjoy a cup of bean soup and asked if we could also get one. She was happy to commit her and brought it out immediately. Gray said his chimi was crisp and well fried when a bit small. I had too many chips and was unable to finish my tacos, so Gray was happy to enjoy the second. I had the pollentaco, and it was delicious. The chorizo went to Gray, which was good, because I found it a little on the hot side for me (sadly, I am an eyelash when it comes to hot food). In summary, the food was fresh, well prepared and delicious. Service was quick friendly. The restaurant and outdoor seating area were cleanly spacious. And the toilets were also brightly clean. When we arrived, there was a sign of a door that was only cash at the moment. But until the time we ended, the sign was taken. So I don't know if it was a temporary situation or something to do during lunchtime. So, be aware that payments must be in cash. We often go through this area when we travel back and forth between Miami, the Tampa Bay area, and I can see that this will be a frequent luncheon during these trips.
