Description

Long-beloved family-run diner blends nostalgic charm with made-to-order comfort food—standout goetta, home fries, burgers, hoagies, and a house chili for Coney dogs—served with hot coffee and friendly service. Clean, casual atmosphere with limited indoor booths and an outdoor picnic table; popular with locals, hikers and motorcyclists. Recent issues include inconsistent posted hours, occasional long waits and uneven cooking or pricing, but fresh ingredients and a generous breakfast–dinner menu keep patrons returning.

Waitress and cook carried on a conversation for 20 minutes while we listened and waited for our food...ridiculous

Long wait for over cooked over priced food . Used to be awesome when I was young . Stopped in recently and waited 40 mins for over cooked Burgers , overcooked hard cheese Fry's and my kids to get cold hot dogs with unmelted cheese slices ???? We all ordered waters and the bill was still over 30 . We could of gone to a nice sit down for that. So sad , I was looking forward to a guido burger .

It’s disheartening. We've been dining here for 30 years, and when we walked in today, there was only one other customer in the dining room. Before we even sat down, we were told it would be a 30-minute wait because they had six takeout orders to fill. It's hard to believe that Darrell is unaware of how his business is suffering. I understand that sometimes places can get busy, but turning away customers feels both outrageous and impolite.
