Fortune Cookie Chinese Takeaway Eatery

Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our Chinese. We spent £30 on our food and the only part we ate and enjoyed was the prawn crackers. The sweet and sour tasted of just ketchup. The rice had no flavour. The salt and pepper chips had no seasoning on the them and was soggy. The spring rolls had no vegetables in them it was just pastry and the chicken balls was just mush inside. £30 spent and still hungry the food was un edible in our opinion.

Just had an order delivered. There was an item missing, phoned up and it came within 20 minutes. One of dishes ordered was crispy shredded chicken in Thai sweet chilli sauce, a Chefs special! Basically it was small pieces of chicken in batter in a very mediocre slightly spicy sweet and sour sauce, not what I was expecting! The other dish ordered was chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce, which was as described, but not that good! Chips were undercooked, fried rice was very bland. A takeaway is a very rare treat now, due to rising prices. This was very disappointing and won’t be using them again!!

Ordered and collected whilst on holiday was ready early. Very full menu and we had a big variety all very tasty. This is a good Chinese takeaway. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £60–70
