Food is good, especially for the price. The staff is mediocre at best, and the place is pretty small. They cook everything to order, so the food is always hot, that's definitely a plus. Not a whole lot on the menu, but if you're hungry and you don't have a lot of cash, I recommend this. However, if you're not wanting to be close to people, or good table service, I wouldn't go there. This quaint lunch counter is a favorite among locals, with servers who know regular customers by name. I stopped in for lunch today and paid $5 and some change for a delicious corn dog, onion rings, and a large Coke. The staff is friendly and quick, and the food is made fresh to order, surpassing the quality of typical chain restaurants. The atmosphere is nostalgic with vintage pharmacy and soda fountain decor. Despite its age, the place is well-maintained and clean. Overall, I had a delightful dining experience here.
