Excellent Service. Consistently excellent service (really), cozy and inviting atmosphere, and average to good food. The menu feels a little stale, and the recipes/flavor somewhat dated, but the food is well prepared and the overall quality is very high. The rotisserie chicken, heuvos rolls, and not-your-ordinary mac-n-cheese are the dishes I normally go after. View all feedback.
What Jeff Hansen doesn't like about J. Alexander’s – Lyndhurst Grill:
Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience. View all feedback.
That was delicious. I love the Rotisserie chicken! and our server johnson was wonderful! cannot wait to go back soon.
Mary ann was not there to serve us, but darya was and she made a fabulous job. we often come here and eat and the service is always wonderful. I wish they would stay open, but we said they will be resy after the 15th juli. that's a shame!
The Cajun trout was absolutely delicious. Aside from a few bones, it was perfect. I will definitely be dining there again.
Had a great birthday celebration. Croissants, which are always great we especially good. Same for the service...the servers helped each other. Food was as good as usual. This was our second time there this week. Earlier in the week we had a problem with 2 meals coming out, which was fine but would have expected them to offer something, but they did not. A bit surprised!
I was told by a co-worker about this place. Made reservations for me and the wife for our 24th wedding anniversary. Simply awesome. Our server Breanna was great, even the manager Brittany stopped by for a chat. Two thumbs up guys.
