What Jeff Hansen doesn't like about J. Alexander’s – Lyndhurst Grill:
Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience. View all feedback. What Daniel likes about J. Alexander’s – Lyndhurst Grill:
Excellent Service. Consistently excellent service (really), cozy and inviting atmosphere, and average to good food. The menu feels a little stale, and the recipes/flavor somewhat dated, but the food is well prepared and the overall quality is very high. The rotisserie chicken, heuvos rolls, and not-your-ordinary mac-n-cheese are the dishes I normally go after. View all feedback.

read moreJerico's, a beloved spot for special occasions, wasn't quite up to par on this visit. While the fillets were lackluster and barely seasoned, the prime rib was a hit. Other diners at different restaurants like J. Alexander's had a much more positive experience, with top-notch food and service that always impresses. Some customers were happy with the food but disappointed with the service, like at a classic steakhouse with a slow waitress. Others noted the excellent accessibility and cozy atmosphere, with servers who go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. Ultimately, while some restaurants fell short on service, others provided exceptional food and service that kept customers coming back for more.
