Was Cynthia Roberts at Pixie Bill's a mag?
The salmon special was exceptional. The wine selection was impressive, and the service was top-notch. Anna took care of us; she was friendly, professional, and very helpful. The grilled asparagus appetizer was also excellent. The hosts and owners were warm and welcoming, even though we arrived before they officially opened. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back to try a dessert crepe. Service... View all feedback.
What D M dislikes about Pixie Bill's:
Three out of four dishes were delicious but the prime rib special was not the temperature that was requested, cut rather thin and the topping was a jumble of tastes that did not come together for a flavorful meld. The service was spotty as tables of four five and eight were seated for the same server within minutes of each other. While the server did their best the service was predictably slow. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the service was great. Lobster bisque was superb. My husband had the Ribeye medium rare, it was perfect. 5 Stars all the way. **Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Tucked away with a rustic charm, this restaurant offers a varied dining experience that elicits both admiration and disappointment. While some guests rave about the exceptional lobster bisque and perfectly cooked ribeye, others criticize the inconsistency of food quality, citing lukewarm dishes and overpriced items that don't meet expectations. Service ranges from outstanding to mediocre, reflecting the establishment's struggle with reliability. Though the atmosphere is generally warm and inviting, issues like subpar sides and unremarkable entrees may deter patrons from returning. With a blend of excellent and lackluster dishes, this restaurant remains a question mark for potential diners.

The service was excellent. We both started with a cup of the lobster bisque, and my husband ordered a salad that was so generous we could have easily shared it. For our main courses, we both chose the Special of the Night: French Onion Prime Rib accompanied by mashed potatoes. Although I typically prefer ribeye steak, I was eager to try the special. Now I understand why so many people return for their prime rib—it was absolutely delicious! Our server also recommended a wine that perfectly complemented our meal. From the moment we entered the restaurant until we departed, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. While it is on the pricier side, the experience is truly worth it.
My husband and I finally decided to give Pixie and Bill's a try. We know it is a restaurant that has been a staple of the Clemson/Seneca community for decades so we wanted to see what is the draw to this restaurant. We decided to try it on a Friday night. When I called to make a reservation for Friday at 6:30, the host said they only had a 6:00 or a 7:00 reservation so I took the 7:00. When we entered the parking lot I was surprised at how empty it was as was the restaurant when we entered. Once seated we had a nice server however she was not very knowledgeable about the menu and never shared the specials with us. My husband ordered the blackened ribeye and scallops with a spinach salad and I got the filet and mixed grill with mashed potatoes. The best part of our meal was the fresh bread that was brought out at the beginning. It was hot and melted in your mouth. I had high hopes for the food. What a disappointment! My husband's steak was tough and flavorless and my filet was small cut up pieces and served with over salted shrimp and a crab/seafood cake that tasted like it was frozen and heated up in a microwave. My mashed potatoes tasted like they were the powdered ones from a box. We passed on dessert since we didn't have high expectations for it. I really wanted to like this place. I love supporting local restaurants but Pixie and Bill's needs some work. The decor is outdated and the restaurant looks like it needs a good cleaning. Unfortunately we won't be back.
AMAZING! This place is famous for its Prime Rib. I opted for a chicken dish along with some red wine, and their wine list is fantastic! I was part of a group of ten, and we had made reservations. Although my wife and I arrived thirty minutes early, our hosts treated us like royalty and seated us right away. The food was exceptional. Our server, Noah, was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to his work. Bill Purkison was our host. Overall, it was the best dining experience I've ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend Pixie and Bill's; it has become my new favorite restaurant!
This place .. oh my .. I came here with my two buddies and my one buddies mom and it was a delight. We celebrated one of my buddies birthdays. Such a great place to celebrate a birthday for many reason great food and great dessert and great people and a great owner and the lighting is also delightful. My buddies mom doesn't have a great phone for pictures so she usually takes pictures on her iPad (no offense to you, you looked nice tonight). She didn't have her iPad (no offense to forgetting) so I was in charge of pictures. I will attach ALL of them.
