The best Chinese food I've ever had! After moving, I struggled to find anything that compares. Whenever I'm within an hour's drive, I make it a point to stop by, enjoy some amazing food, and support this wonderful little business.
I stopped by this restaurant expecting the typical American-style Chinese food, but I was pleasantly surprised by the home-style menu. I’ve never had Ma Po Tofu with Szechuan peppercorns anywhere other than an actual Szechuan restaurant. I really enjoyed the double boiled pork belly, the tofu and eggplant pot, and the Chinese flowering cabbage—so savory! I’m definitely going to try the fishball soup next time. I give it top marks!
The food here is excellent! We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. The only thing I'm not quite sure about is the hot and sour soup; it's a bit on the sweet side for my taste. I prefer it to be more savory and spicy, with a little extra vinegar and pepper. We did enjoy the egg drop soup, especially the version with the added ingredients. Overall, this has been a great experience for us in China.
Excellent spicy food. The closest combination of Indian Chinese food can be found in Clemson. Only a few dishes are somewhat oily, this is the only one to see.
