The bathroom had a large shower cubicle with a rainfall shower head a handheld shower and 6 body jets. Hand cleaning jell is provided. You need to take your own shower jell etc. The breakfast was excellent. Overall I had a good nights sleep and will definitely stay again. PS great beer selection.

The rooms are dated and yes, coul... read more Had a great stay here while attending a local training centre. It’s simply a traditional old school boozer with lots of rooms. The rooms are dated and yes, could be refurbished, but then you simply would be getting it for the price that you do. Single occupancy in an en-suite with towels provided for £30 is decent value. I’d been in a BnB prior to this place, but it was nice to get some privacy. I didn’t get breakfast included as I was out early in the mornings for training. Only had a couple bottles from the bar to take to my room, but they were good and reasonably priced. There’s a decent sized car park to the front too with easy access to the hotel. I’ll be returning and would recommend to others.

I was impressed by the owner's clear directions when I called for assistance while driving on the M62. The room was clean, comfortable, and the shower was amazing, easily controlled and provided plenty of water at the perfect temperature. Both evening meals were excellent, especially the haddock and chips. The full English breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. I highly recommend this friendly, family-run hotel for a comfortable stay in Yorkshire.
