Nestled in a charming area, this restaurant has garnered both praise and disappointment from diners. While many rave about the diverse hot dog offerings, including a notable vegetarian option, others feel let down by a decline in quality. The atmosphere is lively, bolstered by friendly service and historical decor, though some complain about inconvenient ordering logistics and overly loud music. Despite inconsistencies in food preparation and fulfillment, the establishment's loyal patrons appreciate its unique twists on classic favorites. Overall, it remains a popular but polarizing destination for hot dog enthusiasts.

This is a great spot for a quick bite! Specialty hotdogs are definitely unique, and they are delicious! Service is great, and food comes out fast. The atmosphere is a casual quick spot to grab and go, or eat in. Either way, the dogs are delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Jordan Manning dislikes about Loaf'n Dog:
We attempted to dine there during their stated hours, but upon arrival, we found the restaurant closed. The sign on the door indicated they would return at 11:00, yet it was already 12:00. This seems to be a common issue with businesses in Cleburne—great food, but not very accommodating. View all feedback.
I often come here and I'm never disappointed. wants to be great and always makes great food. he even comes to socialize with us. my favorite is the wagyu dog. in any case one must try!
This place used to be really good, not sure what happened. Believe they may have changed franks. They are twice the usual thickness. Very dense/chewy, tons of gristle; bit something hard almost every other bite. A Ball Park Beef Frank or Nathans are both much better quality. Also missed several order notes on Uber Eats. Out of 6 dogs and fries/$54 order, only the fries and two dogs were actually consumed, the rest went to the dogs. Total waste. Get a coney dog from sonic and save yourself the money.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. They offer a variety of adult drinks, shakes, steaks, malts, pretzels, brats, hotdogs, and fries. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is enhanced by historical decor.

The old women at the Christmas Time in Texas that takes your money at the Loaf n Dog Shack be careful she will short change you. She is very rude does not need to be in customer service at all. The place charges $4.00 for hot chocolate plain. They have a very simple minded setup that is not sanitary as everyone is touching all the whip cream canisters and other fixins as they put it. Do yourself a favor steer clear as you might get more than you paid for like a virus to go with that crappy cup of highly overly rated priced hot chocolate.
